Alex "Elliott" Denham, 58, Collins, MS, passed away on January 28, 2025.
Mr. Denham was baptized at an early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was an outgoing and sociable person. He enjoyed repairing cars and entertaining his grandchildren. He was known for always helping others and would be available for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Curtis Goudy and Rose Mae Denham; two brothers, Gleen and Joe Denham, Jr; two sisters, Dorothy Denham and Nequita Goudy.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ann Starr Denham; three sons, Alexander Starr, James (Ben) Starr, Collins, MS, and Timothy Hilton, Taylorsville, MS. Five daughters, Rose Starr, Leighann Starr, Lydia Starr, Trinitee Owens, all of Collins, and Jamaica Hubbard, Dallas, TX. Brothers, Johnny Ray Denham, McComb, MS, Darryl Denham, Dexter Goudy, Curtis Ballard, and Jeffery Hawthorn, all of Collins. Sisters, Sara Beck (Arthur), Oakland, CA., Johnnie "Punkin" Whitlock( Norman), Polly Hamilton, Camille Hamilton, and Meldie "Bell" Both, all of Taylorsville, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, other family, and friends.
