Ms. Betty Elaine Hawthorne, Collins, MS passed away May 10, 2022.
Ms. Hawthorne lived a meek, humble and quiet life and believed in the true and living God and confessed Him as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Greater Collins COGIC. She attended Carver Central High School, Collins, and was employed at Neco Plant; later at Sanderson Farms Hatchery and Magnetek Universal. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and babysitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter "Moody" Sullivan and Beulah Mae Sullivan; grandparents, Hubert and Bertha Hawthorne, Corene and Jodie Sullivan.
Survivors include sisters, Lorene"Sullivan; McInis, Sentoria Sullivan, And Sheila Sullivan all of Collins; brothers, Walter Sullivan, and Gene Sullivan, both of Collins, and Kevin Sullivan, Sr., Chicago, IL. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Honorary Pallbearers: Walter Sullivan, Corlos Sullivan, James Young, Kevin Sullivan, Sr. Johnny Sullivan, and Jeffery Hawthorne.
Active Pallbearers: Chris Hawthorne, Tony Hawthorne, Nathan Fairley, Randy Barnes, James Spencer, and Larry Hawthorne.
Flower Bearers: Nieces and Cousins
Elder Donnie Hawthorne was the Officiant.
