Mrs. Charla Demetri Magee, 60, Mount Olive, MS died on November 8, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Magee was a graduate of Magee High School, Magee, MS; William Carey College, Hattiesburg, MS where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She retired from Jefferson Davis County School System after 16 years of employment. Her work and community involvement speaks for itself.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Gray and Della Durr; favorite cousins, James Durr and Steve"Air" McNair.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Magee Magee, two children, Latoria (Jaraud) Moore and Brandon Magee; grandchildren, JaKobee Magee, Rylan Sumrall, Ry'Leah Sumrall, and Brayden Magee; special "Bud". Michael Walker; goddaughter, Tasjia Durr; sister, Sharon Durr; brothers, Morris(Tammy) Coleman, Terry (Felicia) Coleman, Paul (Linda) Durr, Sedrick Durr, and Michael Kinney; special brothers, Michael Earl Newsome and Steve Durr; a dear special friend, Wanda Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
