Clyde Ellis Brinson, 84

Mr. Clyde "Ellis" ( King Choppa-Bo-Bo) Brinson, Prentiss, MS passed away at his residence on April 17, 2023.

 

He attended school in Jefferson Davis County.  He moved to California where he was employed as a janitor in Monroe, CA. He was also employed with Siemen Company, Jackson, MS as a welder where he retired.  He was also known as a great cook of gumbo, bar-b-que and fish.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lampris and Garlia G. Brinson; His wife, LuGracie Brinson;  daughters, Eurydice, Rita, and Madison;  great granddaughter, Marrissa Fairley; and brothers, Ozell and Carl Brinson.

 

Survivors include children, Lucille L. Brinson Poole(Andre), Craig Brinson, and Nikki Gray( Ray). Brothers, Linnell (Chris) Brinson,  Eddie Charles Brinson, all of Mount Olive,  Keith Brinson(Sandra), Collins, Duet (Michelle) Brinson,  Prentiss, MS and Gregory Brinson(Joe Ann), CA.  Sisters, Elaine Treadway (William), Monroe, CA, Pasty Brinson, Victorville, CA, Aunt, Yoncille McLlurin, Columbia, MS; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends;   special recognition to caregiver, Clementine Easterling.
