Deborah Johnson, 56

Mrs. Deborah Ann Johnson, 56 passed away on July 9, 2024.

Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Collins High School, Collins, MS. She was a member of One Accord Church, Collins, MS. She was employed for a decade at Sanderson Farms. She also served as head cook at the former Morgan's on Main for 12 years. She left an indelible mark on people. Her passions were cooking, cleaning, attending church, and cherishing moments with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mary Ruth McLaurin; mother-in-law, Evelyn B. Johnson; her paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as aunts and uncles. 

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Johnson; sons, Tristan Johnson and Desmond(Dominique) McLaurin; daughter, Nacarie Johnson, all of Collins, MS. Brother, Rodney McLaurin, Sumrall, MS, sister,/cousin, Tracey Durr, Cartersville, GA. God-sister/cousin, Rachel Graves, Collins; cherished grandchildren, Lazarus McLaurin and Juaquavier Bridges, Collins; maternal uncle Joseph; maternal aunt, Janice Strickland, (Joyce) Strickland, all of Collins; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins,

Pallbearers: Shawn Wilson, Dillon Graves, Reck Strickland, Timothy Barnes,, Jason Jones, and Marcus Potts.
