Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) Elaine Wallace, Mount Olive, MS passed away on January 10, 2025.
Mrs. Wallace attended Lincoln Attendance Center and graduated from Mt. Olive Attendance Center in 1977. She loved playing basketball and first String in the school orchestra.
She was a lifelong member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Jackson State University for two years. Her passion was working as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie(Shorty) Mangrum and Juanita Mangrum; sister, Willie Ruth McNair; brothers, Robert, Ervin, Georg Earl, Augustus, Johnnie Q, Arthur (Duude) Mangrum; brother in law, R. T. MccNair and one great grandson, Kyrgston Turner.
Survivors include sons, Jerrell and Alex Turner, Mount Olive; daughter, Cherish Jackson, Gulfport, MS; brothers, David(Dorothy) Mangrum, Apopka, FL, Larry Angrum, Magee, MS and Carl (Vangie0 Mangrum, Crestview, FL, and sister Sharon (Arthur) Graves, Magee, MS. Nieces( just like sisters), Dawn Dampier, Jessica(Dennis) Martin, Terri(Jerry0 Longino, Mt. Olive; sister in laws, Corris Mangrum, Louise Mangrum, Rosetta Mangrum, Shirley Turner, and Rita Turner. 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
