James Phillips, 87

Mr. James Philliips 87, had a dedicated career as a cement finisher until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and engaging in activities that brought him peace and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Willie Mae Phillips; wife, Ruby L. Phillips; stepdaut=gher, Earnetine Echols; siblings, Inez, John, Holly James, Clara Mae, Catherine, and Martha Jean.

Survivors include stepson, Willie C.(Betty) Thompson, three grandchildren, great-grandchildren, all of Alabaster, AL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
