Larry W Barnes, 73

 

Mr. Barnes was a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, Taylorsville, MS.  He was a man of many occupations, logging, watching football and car racing.  He always kept the faith, even though he  had many hurdles to cross in his life.  

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Vilinda Barnes;  sisters, Mary Lou Clark and Mary Helen Both; brother, Sam Barnes, Jr.

 

Survivors include, his wife, Laura M. Barnes, Hattiesburg; daughter, Belinda (Stanley) Buckley, Taylorsville, MS; sons, Dennis (Brenda) Barnes, Ricky Brown, Larry T. Barnes  Danny Ray Barnes, and Samuel Lee Barnes, all of Taylorsville.  5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Flora Mae Barnes, Taylorsville and Mattie L. Barnes, Gulfort, MS,  brothers, M. C. (Sue) Barnes, Taylorsville and Donald Ray Barnes, Oakland, CA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
