Lee Edward Watson, 84

Mr. Lee Edward Watson, Collins MS, passed away on June 17, 2022.

 

Mr. Watson was a lifelong Collins resident and a member of Macedonia MBC.  He attended Carver Central High School, Collins.  He was employed for 40 years at Collinswood Poultry Plant( Sanderson Farms).

 

He was blessed with a large family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved fast cars and fishing.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Ander Watson and Helen Holloway Watson; step-mother, Annie Watson, grandparents, Rufus and Racheal Easterling; Jake and Lula Bell Watson; sisters, Eva and Jackie Robinson; daughters, Sandra Sykes, and Mary Ann Lee; and former wife, Nellie Ruth Watson.  

 

Survivors include wife, Shirley Booth Watson; former wife, Margaret Watson.  Children, Sandra Nell (Fredrick)Clark, Samuel Lee Watson, and Elijah(Sharon) Watson.  Sandr (Larry) Sykes, Helena ( Isiah) Wheeler, Edwin Watson and  Kenneth Watson.  LaTonya(Michael) McGee, Don Earl Booth and Mildretta( Nicholas) Boykin and Mary Ann Lee.

 

Siblings, Beverly Watson, San Diego, CA., Luther Watson, Gautier, MS, Morris Watson, Collins, Brenda (Arturo) Sanchez, Purvis, MS, Sharon (Willie)Stepney, Harvey, LA, Lovell(ElCia) Wason, Petal, MS, Rosie Butler, Houston, Roger Page, Jackson, TN, Edna Coulter, Hattiesburg, MS and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
