Mrs. Lola Dampier-Armstrong, New Hebron, MS, passed away at her residence on December 10, 2024.
Mrs. Dampier-Armstrong lived her life in a Christian way that showed her love and her wisdom to many. Early in life she was a member of Oak Ridge Church and later moved her membership to North Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Dampier-Armstrong was a member of the Do Re May Choir, Adult Choir, House Prayer Service, Heroines of Jericho and the Home Mission. She remained a faithful member until her health failed. She worked many years at New Hebron School where she prepared meals for the staff and students.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Alberta Buckley; huband, Clarence Tom Dampier and Garfield Armstrong. Children, Harold Dampier and Myra Hathorne; and two sons in laws, Robert Davis and Willie Clark
Survivors include her children, Alberta Sue Clark, Jerry Dampier, Alice Davis, Arthur Dampier, Kenneth(Mary) Dampier, Sylvania (Diane)Dampier, Shervon Dampier Smith, Evon Rhodes and James (Sharon) Dampier. 40 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren, thirty great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Viola Dampier and Willie May Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
