Lorene C Brown Blanks, 75

Mrs. Lorene Brown Blanks passed away at her residence on January 5, 2024.

 

She attended Lilly Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was a model housewife and took care of her children while her husband worked and provided for the family.  She was well-respected in the community and well-loved by her family, friends, and neighbors.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Lorine Brown; her husband, Odell Blanks; daughter, Christine Blanks; granddaughter, Kemisha LaShay Blanks; two brothers, Charles Ray and LeRoy Brown; two sisters, Eddie Mae Peters and Sealie Mae Newton; daughter in law, Jackie Brown.

 

Survivors include sons, Phillip (Jackie) Brown, James Blanks, Gerry (Shelia ) Blanks, Johnny Lee (Karrin) Blanks, and Michael (Katie) Blanks; seven daughters, Stacy (Malachi) Braughnm Barbara (Don) Blanks, Patricia Blanks, Teresa Blanks, Sarah (Mark) Blanks, Samantha (Jerome) Blanks-Henderson, Deborah (Michael) Blanks-Barnes.   Brothers, Issac Brown, Columbia, MS and Jefflyn (Brenda) Brown, Hattiesburg, MS.  Sisters, Grace Brown, Eastpointe, MI, Ola Mae Ard, Grand Prairie, TX and Elaine (Bubba) Newson, Columbia, MS.  31 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
