Mrs. Lula B. Hodges passed away on March 11, 2024, in Waynesboro, MS.
Mrs. Hodges graduated from Providence School, Collins, MS. She was an outstanding homemaker who loved to sew and help others. She loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Frances Leggett; grandson, Jermaine Hawthorne; siblings, Will Fairley, Otis Leggett, Jr., James H. Leggett, David C. Leggett, and Levon Leggett.
Survivors include her children, Pearl Hodges, Waynesboro, MS, Gloria (Glenn) Smith, Magee, MS, Jacqueline Jaynes, Herman Hoges, Jr., Deborah(Eldgridge) Thurman, and Hawthorne Hodges, all of Mount Olive; siblings, Mary Gowan, Springfield, MA, Lois Barnes, and Archie Leggett, both of Detroit, Gladys Hall, and Evon McLaurin, both of Mount Olive, Robert C. Legget, Oakland, CA and Louis Leggett, Laurel, MS. 29 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
