Mrs. Magee grew up in the Zionell Community and was a member of Zionell CME Church during her early years. She attended elementary and high school at McLaurin Attendance Center, Magee MS. She was employed at Bill's Dollar Store, Greer's, and TG&Y for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Artis Tatum and Hettie B. Whitlock Tatum. Siblings, Leroy, Samuel, Flazell, Ezra, Willie Earl, Otis, Lee Artis, Ida, and Ina.
Survivors include her loving husband, Reverend Willie V. Magee; children, Mary Alice(Stanley) Davis, Prentiss, MS, and Alphonso Delaneo(Mary) Barnes, Columba, Ms; adopted child, Donyell Magee; bonus children, Willie Magee, Jr., Collins, MS, Rebecca, and Daniel Magee, Houston TX, Timothy and Inea Magee, Collins; Angela Branch, Collins, and Anthony Magee, Hattiesburg, MS. Siblings, Mary Lois McNair, Luease (Willie) Powell, Mt. Olive, MS Lou Ellen (W. O. Craft)Magee, MS; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
