Mr. Michael Christopher Blanks, 48(December 14, 1976-August 10, 2024), Ellisville, MS(formerly of Covington County) graduated from Mount Olive Attendance Center, Mount Olive, MS. He enjoyed watching football; his favorite NFL team was the New Orleans Saints. He spent his leisure time fishing. He was employed at Masonite, Laurel, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Blanks, and Lorene Christine Brown. Sister, Teresa Blanks, son Darion Potts.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Potts Blanks; children, Michael Blanks, Timeshia Barnes, Shekinah Nelson, and Jason Potts.

Sisters, Barbara Blanks, Deborah(Michael) Barnes, Stacy (Malachi) Draughn, Sarah(Mark) Blanks, Samantha (Jerome) Henderson, Patricia Blanks; brothers, 

John(Karrin) Blanks, Gerry(Sheila) Blanks, Phillip Brown, James Blanks; mother in law, Linda "Mama D" Ducksworth; 6 bonus grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
