Mr. Michael Sharod "Doc" McNair, 37, Collins, MS, passed away on March 21, 2025, as the result of a vehicular accident in Hattiesburg, MS.
Mr. McNair was a lifelong member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist church, Prentiss, MS, and a 2005 graduate of Mount Olive High School, Mount Olive, MS, where he was a member of the Mt. Olive Pirates Football Team. He continued his education at Alcorn State University, Lorman, MS. He leaves a profound and lasting impression on those who call him son, brother, dad, nephew, uncle, cousins, and friend. His brilliant spirit, radiant smile, and compassionate heart captivated everyone who got to know him.
He was preceded in death by one brother, one grandmother, one grandfather, five aunts, and one uncle.
Survivors include his osn, Micah Kyhlan McNair; special friend, Lesliu White; mother, Lucille McNair; father, Robert Newsome; brothers, Fred McNair,(Barbara), Tim McNair(Sharina), Jason McNair (Avril); sister in law, Mechelle McNair( widow of deceased brother, Steve McNair); step brother, Joseph Gant, step-sisters, Dietrick Blackwell, Brandy Byrd(Michael); special uncle, Billy Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
