Memorial services for Pastor Paul Keyes, 49, Mize, MS were held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11 AM from the Chapel at Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive, MS. Interment was in the New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jeremiah Keyes was the Officiant. Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive, MS was in charge of the arrangements.

He was the pastor of New Life Pentecostal Church for 18 years. He was also the founder of P & B Fencing Company, Taylorsville, MS. He was a devoted husband, father, pastor, grandfather, and friend to many. He enjoyed pastoring, working, helping others, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Keyes and Mary Lou Owns, brother, Jerome Keyes, and sister, Stacy Keyes.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Keyes, Taylorsville; children, Minnie (Michael) Shirley, Laurel, MS, Lapaula Keyes, Bay Springs, MS, Alexanderia Blackwell and Cornelius Blackwell, both of Mize. 2 grandchildren, Michael Bender, Jr, and Olivia Marie Shirley. Siblings, Leonard (Lottie) Keyes, Jr., Jean ( George) Keys, Michelle(Kenneth) Hayes, Tommy Keys, all of Mize.; Tyrone(Sequilla) Keys, Leonard Keyes, III, Collins, MS and Raymond Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
