Mrs. Sandra K. Booker Thompson, 68, Collins, MS passed away on February 16, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.
She was a member of Rocky Valley Missionary Baptist Church during her early years. When the family moved to Collins, she joined and remained a faithful member alongside her husband, Deacon Dwight Thompson . She served as a Sunday School teacher, dining committee and as a Deaconess.
Mrs. Thompson was a graduate of Carver Central High School, Collins. During her early years she worked holidays alongside her mother at TWL store in Collins. Later she was employed with the Medicaid Waiver Health Care Agency.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Dwight Thomson; parents, Samuel Booker, Jr and Bernice Booker Cooper; stepfather, Ben Cooper; 2 sisters, Gewona Faye Booker, and Kathy Booker; brother, Sammie Lee Booker and nephew, Devin Booker.
Survivors include, children, Timothy Booker, Tanyala (Charles) Easterling, and Secdrick( Melissa) Booker. 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, and 2 God-daughters. Siblings, Ronnie Booker, Collins, MS, Kimberly Dewayne Cooper, Phoenix, AZ, Burnis Ruth Booker, Collins, Shelis (Kenneth) Williams, Knoxville, TN, Ortillia )Albert) Gatlin, Houston, TX, Andrieal ( David) Burkett, Gulfport, MS. Aunt. Alice Hayes, Collins along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other siblings and friends.
