Miss Sha'Kayiah Lafaye Keys, 20, passed away on September 4, 2024, as the result of a vehicular accident.
Miss Keys was a graduate of West Jones High School, Class of 2022. She was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. She attended the University of Mississippi on a scholarship certificate in special Congressional recognition (CTE) and has many other academic achievements. She planned to become a Pediatrician because of her love for infants and children. She took pride in being a Hotty Toddy. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, especially Juan. She has a beautiful gift for drawing.
She was preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents, Essie Rea Duckswoth, S. D. Ducksworth, Sylvester Crosby, Sr., and Idell Crosby.
Survivors include her mother, Sheena Crosby( Jerry Magee, Jr.), her father, Joseph Keys ( Dominique Gordon Keys), seven siblings, Sha'Niayah Keys, Sha' Ziayah Keys, Au'Miayah Allen, Bonita Keys, Joseph Keys, Jr., Jordan Keys, and Ja'Juan Keys. Grandparents, James Crosby ( Aline Crosby), Alice Reed(Franklin Reed), Calvin Keys. Great Grandparents, Stella Williams and William Campbell, Ollie Mae Booth ( G. W. Booth); aunts, Samantha Crosby and Letchia Crosby; uncles, Jerome Crosby( Tina Crosby) Marcus Crosby and Jerramie Keys( Landria Keys) all from Hebron, MS and her best friend, Bailey Harris.
