Ms. Shaunta Kemp, 43 passed away on February 22, 2024.
Ms. Kemp was a graduate of Mount Olive Attendance Center where she excelled in athletics. She was the Shot Put leader for the Pirates and was a member of the Pirates Marching Band. She also attended Jones Community College.
She was a member of the Mount Olive Church of Christ.
Her Auntie Code was "I always had your back!" She loved her nieces and nephews unconditionally.
Ms. Kemp was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Smith, and grandmother, Susie Mae Smith; niece, Reginay Heaven Kemp.
Survivors include her children, Carmen Kemp and Temperance Kemp, both of Mount Olive; her mother, Nadine Smith Kemp, Mount Olive; her father, Herman Kemp, Mendenhall, MS; sisters, Tori Kemp Wheeler, Collins, MS, Aleshia Smith, Magee, MS, Edith Moffett, Bay Springs, MS, Joyce Ann Kemp, Mendenhall, and Iesha Tatum, Laurel, MS. brothers, Reginald Kemp (NaTasha), Fort Worth, TX and Homer Earl Kemp(Cassandra), Bay Springs, MS; good friend, Tiffany Graves and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
