Ms. Willie Earl Goudy, 88, Collins, MS was a lifelong resident of Covington County. She was employed for 40 years at Sanderson Farms and also worked at Lott's Cafe. She had an immeasurable love for her children, grandchildren, and family.
She was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. She was known for bringing her delicious dish of greens for many occasions and events at the church.
Ms. Goudy was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Willie Matilda Myers-Goudy. Three sisters, Johnnie Mae Croon, Helen Ruth Allen, and Jessie Mae Alexander. Five brothers, Ray Goudy, Jimmie Lee Goudy, Charles Goudy, Sam Goudy, Horace Goudy, and James Curtis Goudy. Sons, Michael Goudy and Rynea Goudy. Grandchildren, Felicia Goudy, Stanley Goudy, Devin Booker, Re'Shun Goudy, Jabarri Goudy, Ciara Goudy, and Jaxon Goudy.
Survivors include son, Charles Goudy, Collins; daughters, Elaine( Wayne) McCloud, Leatha Goudy, both of Collins and Hope(Dennis) age, Hattiesburg, MS. Sisters, Lavern Mayes,, Atlanta, GA and Victoria Carter, New Orleans, LA. 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; Godchild, Kyndall Klinghammer. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
